Allison Hetzel Professor of Voice and Acting
Thank you for visiting my website to review my creative activity, research, teaching, service, and outreach. I joined the Department of Theatre and Dance in 2006, and I have been an active member of the department, campus, and community since my appointment. My areas of creative activity and research include Solo Performance, Acting, and Vocal Coaching, and these creative activities all connect to the Vocal Training of Actors. My areas of teaching include Acting, Voice, and Speech courses for graduate and undergraduate programs. Special topics courses that I also enjoy teaching are Accents and Dialects, Scene Study, and Careers in Theatre. In the area of service and outreach, I have been involved with a local non profit Arts 'n Autism for the past ten years as a teacher and volunteer. My service to the Department, College of Arts and Sciences, and the University has been consistent and active. I am also a faculty advisor and serve as the undergraduate Director of Theatre Advising for the College of Arts and Sciences.
